KANONISCH CHILLEN
The assignment was to design high quality seats to be used during the Classical Bach Music Festival in the Castle of Köthen, Germany.
This was a real project in which the best design would be chosen and implemented.
First design: a seating installation in the form of a bass key for multiple people. A filigree lattice structure is created through the repeated bending, crossing and circling of metal rods, which resemble the lightness of Bach’s music. By interweaving the metal rods, a wide range of seating possibilities are created in the form of a bass key from the perspective and observation of the visitor.
